Research interests
Research Interests include:Biomarkers of Tolerance in kidney transplantation: from 2003 till 2008 she coordinated a multicenter international endeavour to establish their existence. Now the focus is to translate into the clinic those biomarkers that are predictive of kidney transplant outcome. The aim is to enable biomarker-led individualisation of therapy using both genetic and immunologic monitoring techniques.
Studying the role of B cells in transplantation tolerance.Long standing interest in characterising and quantifying alloimmune responses in humans.
She also tutors, lectures and supervises students in immunology and has actively participated in the design of the Intercalated BSC in Translational Medicine that KCL now offers.
