Research interests (short)

My research focus is on the use of graphic organisers in education and especially their effect on reading comprehension

Biographical details

I have taught in both mainstream and special schools in Greece as a qualified teacher for children with learning difficulties. I have also voluntarily taught and mentored young Deaf children whilst I was studying for the final year of my BA and throughout my MA studies. As a part time PhD student in London, I have worked as a teacher in a private Greek school while currently I hold the position of an asset manager assistant in a private company. My research activity and interest is in the use of graphic organisers in teaching children with reading difficulties.
