Research interests
Naomi is a Midwifery Lecturer (Research & Education). Her PhD, the IMPART study, looked at implementation of the preterm birth pathway in England, which was funded through a NIHR Clinical Doctoral Research Fellowship. The IMPART study was awarded the 'patient-led research award' at the 2025 Health Services Research UK Conference.
She has previously worked clinically in the Preterm Birth Surveillance Clinic at St Thomas’ Hospital, London, UK. Her research interests include preterm birth, mid-trimester loss, maternity implementation and research using realist methods.
