Biographical details

I joined the Institute of Psychiatry in 2012 and I work for the King's Clinical Trials Unit on trials in mental health mainly.

These include randomised controlled trials of:

  • Self-management education for people with epilepsy;
  • Outpatient treatment for adults with anorexia nervosa;
  • Therapist-delivered cognitive behavioural therapy and web-based self-management for people with irritable bowel syndrome;
  • Botulinum toxin for children with cerebral palsy who are undergoing painful surgery;
  • Mentalisation based therapy in people with borderline personality disorder;
  • Therapeutic dose management for sufferers of psychosis.
