Dr Philip Batchelor

Research interests

MRI reconstruction, motion correction in MRI, diffusion tensor MRI, mathematical methods in MRI and image reconstruction, general medical image processing (registration, segmentation, quantification), surface geometry, and all mathematics applied to these topics.<br /> <br /> Dr Batchelor has developed a number of new MR-reconstruction techniques for parallel MRI and motion correction using numerical linear algebra and functional analysis.
