Research interests

I am an urban geographer with interests in the everyday life of cities, especially the way that socio-legal regulation of the city excludes and marginalises some populations. This has included, inter alia, work on the geographies of sex workers, asylum seekers, students and council estate tenants, exploring the different displacements enacted by municipal law and forms of environmental/planning regulation.
