Research interests

I am a Strategic Communications researcher looking at discourses and storylines within Brazilian environmental governance, with a particular focus on the emergence of the "bioeconomy" discourse in Brazil and it's shaping of attitudes and behaviours vis-à-vis Amazon deforestation and forest governance more broadly. 

My programme is a joint programme with University of São Paulo Institute of International Relations, where i will be based from March 2023-March 2024. Currently based at the King's College London Brazil Institute.
