Research interests

My four main areas of research, using both experimental and meta-analytic methodologies, are: 

1) Evaluation of psychological therapies for older service users and staff; 

2) Behavioural and psychological symptoms in dementia (e.g. depression, anxiety and psychotic symptoms) and evaluation of biopsychosocial interventions in dementia;

3) Evaluation of mindfulness-based interventions in working age and older people;

4) Neuroinflammation in older people with functional disorders (e.g. depression and anxiety).
