Dr
Regina Sala, MD, PhD is a child psychiatrist trained at the Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, PA, USA, University of Barcelona, Hospital Clinic, Spain, Complutense University of Madrid, Spain, Universita degli Studi di Parma, Italy, and Mostoles University Hospital, Madrid, Spain. Dr Sala received her PhD in Neuroscience by the University of Barcelona, Spain. She worked at the Anxiety Disorders Clinic at the New York State Psychiatry Institute, Columbia University, New York, USA. Dr Sala has been awarded with the Donald J. Cohen Fellowship Program of the 19th World Congress of the Interantional Association for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Allied Professions (IACAPAP), the Alicia Koplowitz Foundation grant for the Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and the grant for Abroad Formation for Psychiatrist Residents, Psychiatry and Mental Health Spanish Foundation at Cornell University, New York, USA. Dr Sala is serving as a Reviewer for several journals like the Journal of Clinical Psychiatry, Bipolar Disorder, and Addiction, and is a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Child & Adolescent Behavior.
Dr Sala main research interests are mood and anxiety disorders in children and adolescents as well as Patient Centred Outcome Measures (PCOMs) and health economics.
