My research interests include statistical methods in epidemiology, time series and cohort studies and the health effects of outdoor air pollution and aeroallergens. I have participated in a number of European collaborations studying air pollution and health including the projects APHEA, APHENA and APHEIS. I am currently working on time series and cohort studies on the health effects of short and long term exposure to air pollution funded by the Department of Health. I am a member of the Government Committee on the Health Effects of Air Pollution(COMEAP).
