Sarah is a Clinical Doctoral Research Fellow at King’s and St Christopher’s Hospice, funded by the National Institute of Health Research. Sarah specialises in palliative and end-of-life care and its interface with older age, frailty and multimorbidities. Her interests are around enabling access and choice for older people and their families; facilitating informed decision-making around how people wish to live and be cared for in their last years of life; and building workforce capacity to improve end-of-life care for all. Her doctorate, Conversations on Living and Dying, aims to facilitate advance care planning for community-dwelling frail elders.
In 2015, UN member states agreed to 17 global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all. This person’s work contributes towards the following SDG(s):
