Short Biography:
Dr. Shuangyi Wang is a Post-doctoral Research Associate at School of Biomedical Engineering and Imaging Sciences (BMEIS), King's College London experienced in mechatronic design and medical robotics. He received his PhD from BMEIS, King's College London working on developing the world first image-guided robotic trans-oesophageal ultrasound system and has been subsequently working on building new extra-corporeal ultrasound robots. Since starting research in 2013, he has been actively involved in building bespoke medical robots and published more than 20 research papers on the topic of medical robotics. His current research intersts are ultrasound robots, computer-assisted interventions, and robotic-assisted diagnosis.
In 2015, UN member states agreed to 17 global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all. This person’s work contributes towards the following SDG(s):
