Biographical details

Dr. Zhiyuan Simon Tan is a Lecturer (equivalent to Assistant Professor) in Accounting in the School of Management and Business at King's College London. Simon's reesearch has been published in and accepted by Accounting, Organizations and Society, Management Accounting Research, and Accounting, Auditing and Accountability Journal. Simon's research has been funded by the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. Simon has acted as an ad hoc reviewer for various academic journals, conferences, and an accountancy professional body. He is on the editorial board of Qualitative Research in Accounting and Management.

Simon obtained his BSc, MSc, and PhD in Accounting and Finance all from the London School of Economics (LSE). Before joining King's, Simon worked as a graduate teaching assistant and academic advisor at the LSE.
