Biographical details

Stephen Deery is Professor of Human Resource Management.  His principal research activities lie in the areas of call centres, organisational performance, employee turnover and absenteeism. He is also involved in the study of the psychological contract and employee stress as well as harassment and bullying.
 
He is a member of the Global Call Centre Research Programme which is comparing call centres in North America, Europe and Asia and has conducted comparative call centre studies across Australia, the UK and the USA.
 
Professor Deery is Editor-in-Chief of Human Relations and is on the International Advisory Board of the British Journal of Industrial Relations and the Journal of Industrial Relations.
