Research interests
Stephen's research is focused on international, EU and commercial law related to the clean energy transition and climate change, especially regarding finance and technology. Research projects within this broad field include the law and policy of international financial institutions regarding climate change, the operationalisation of the Paris Agreement, the EU’s 2030 framework and China’s outbound investment in energy projects. Stephen also works on related developments in dispute settlement.
Biographical details
Stephen Minas is an Assistant Professor at the School of Transnational Law, Peking University and a Senior Research Fellow at the Transnational Law Institute, King's College London. Stephen is also a member of the IUCN World Commission on Environmental Law and the Young Academics Network of the Foundation for European Progressive Studies.
