Biographical details

Sylvanus Wekesa is currently is pursuing his Doctorate in Leadership Studies with reference to Security and Development at King’s College London, where he is working on a thesis provisionally entitled, 'Leadership and the Politics of Borderland Communities: Integration, Peace and Security in the East African Community'. This looks at the leadership role of the EAC in security and conflict intervention in the East African region. Wekesa holds a BA in History and Political Studies from Kenyatta University and a MSc in Security, Leadership and Society from King’s College London. Sylvanus also writes for a personal blog https://www.africanistview.com on topical leadership issues in the East African region.
