Biographical details
Thomas joined the Department of European and International Studies (EIS) in February 2024. His research focuses on the role of national identity and emotions in online misinformation within the European Union.
Before joining the department, Thomas worked with the ministry of foreign affairs of Lithuania, specialising in public communications and Lithuania-United Kingdom diplomatic relations. He holds an MSc in International Relations from the London School Economics (2022) and a BA in European Studies (German Pathway) from King’s College London (2020).
