Research interests

Current research interests include the impact of pricing strategies used by the tobacco industry in response to tobacco taxation, particularly among socio-economically disadvantaged groups, and smoker'sattitudes to and patterns of use of e-cigarettes.

Biographical details

Timea completed her PhD in Psychology at the University of Melbourne, Australia.  Prior to joining the KCL Addictions department in 2015, she worked as a researcher in the Tobacco Control Unit of the Cancer Council Victoria.  Some of her previous research projects included examining the predictors of longer-term quitting, the impact of cigarette packet health warning labels, and Australian smokers' responses to the new plain tobacco packages.
