I am an electrical and electronic engineer by training with a doctoral degree (Dr.-Ing) in computer science and automation.
My research interest is developing and adapting advanced signal and image processing techniques into applications in the field of neuroscience with a particular interest in multimodal integration. In this direction, I have experience employing a variety of techniques including Electroencephalography (EEG), Magnetoencephalography (MEG), functional and structural magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and non-invasive brain stimulation to investigate conditions and diseases such as epilepsy, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, autism, and sleep deprivation.
