Biographical details

Professor Vicky Goh was educated at Cheltenham Ladies' College and obtained her medical degree from the University of Cambridge. She trained in General Medicine and Radiology in London, completing a Fellowship in Cross-sectional Imaging at Toronto, Canada. Her MDRes (University of Cambridge) examined the role of Perfusion CT in colorectal cancer. She joined Kings College London and Guy's & St Thomas' Hospitals in 2011 as Chair of Clinical Cancer Imaging and Honorary Consultant Radiologist. She has served as Head of Department, Cancer Imaging, School of Biomedical Engineering and Imaging Sciences since 2017. She is past president of the European Society of Oncologic Imaging, steering commitee member of the European School of Radiology, active member of the European Society of Radiology, and is currently chairing the Academic Committee at the Royal College of Radiologists.

Research interests

  • Multimodality functional imaging of gastrointestinal, urological and lung cancer.
  • Multi-parametric, multi-modality imaging biomarker development and assessment of tumour heterogeneity.
  • Development of novel functional imaging methods to improve assessment of cancer.
  • Multicentre clinical trials: As the chief or co-investigator of a number of trials; provision of central imaging review; independent data monitoring and trial steering committee membership.
