Biographical details
Yi Li is a PhD candidate in the Faculty of Life Sciences and Medicine at King's College London. Under the supervision of Dr. Laura Peralta Pereira, Prof. Andrew Reader, and Prof. Jo Hajnal, his research focuses on physically-informed learning-based beamforming for multi-transducer ultrasound imaging.
He obtained his BEng in Energy and Power Engineering from Jilin University and his MSc in Physics and Engineering in Medicine from University College London. His previous research experience includes work on thermal management design of electric automobiles, ion-current sensors in engine cylinders, and thermal modelling in optical ultrasound transducers. With his diverse background in engineering, Mr. Li is dedicated to research and innovation in the field of biomedical engineering.
