Abstract
A multifunctional system and method for monitoring multiple physiological parameters remotely in real time are disclosed, said system comprises of a hardware device near the patient’s bed for measuring and monitoring the physiological parameters in real time by the local health care provider/attender and a remote server through which the remote doctor can monitor these parameters in real time and provide consultation, whenever required. This system assists doctors in early detection of criticalities with the help of data behavioural prediction and helps in management of patients by triggering intelligent and differentiated alarm system. The dynamic, intelligent data transfer modality of the system and method using Artificial Intelligence algorithms provides saving resources like bandwidth and electricity which are scarce in rural areas. This system allows third parties to integrate their own applications with gateway that increases the usability.
