Abstract
Hybrid or hybrid flexible learning is a technique that can provide connection between a hybrid group of online and on-campus students. This relatively innovative approach has also led to new teaching styles and pedagogical approaches. Case studies provide examples of how those approaches can be used in practice. This paper seeks to provide an overview of case studies on approaches which range from ways to increase learner engagement to novel methods to engage in practical work. Thoughts for practitioners and reflections are included along with some comments on limitations. The novelty of this research is demonstrated by the fact that this is one of the first case-based descriptions of teaching and learning approaches using this technology in a learning environment.
