Abstract

In the dynamic field of nursing, fostering a positive, sustainable, and emotionally intelligent workplace is paramount for patient care and professional well-being. This chapter explores the role of Appreciative Inquiry (AI) in transforming nursing practices through a strengths-based approach, leveraging Emotional Intelligence (EI) to create flourishing environments. By shifting from problem-solving to possibilityseeking, AI empowers nurses to co-create resilient, innovative, and compassionate care models. The chapter delves into the Five-D AI Cycle (Define, Discover, Dream, Design, Destiny), illustrating its application in enhancing leadership, and patient-centered care.
