Abstract

We present the use of microfluidic devices for copper(II) ion complexation of cyclen and cyclam macrocycles. Onchip monitoring of the complexation reactions was achieved via absorbance detection. This work opens the door for the on-chip synthesis of new 64Cu based radiotracers that are important for positron emission tomography (PET).
