Abstract

This brief examines challenges facing Taiwan’s dream of becoming a reliable digital country. It then assesses the current polices promoted by the Tsai Ing-wen administration under the banner of “cybersecurity is national security.” The concluding paragraphs provide some policy suggestions for Taiwan’s policymakers to consistently enhance cybersecurity and build a dynamic digital economy.
