Abstract

In an increasingly competitive business environment, the needs, wants, desires, and preferences of diverse audiences requires fresh, novel strategies that foster inclusive and responsible marketing practices. The marketing classroom is shaped by social movements that call on society-level change that alters the way that consumers behave in the marketplace requiring businesses to rethink their marketing strategies. The six special issue articles provide marketing educators with some of the pedagogical innovations. This editorial not only provides an overview of these contributions, but also conceptualizes the Inclusive Marketing Education framework that provides a broad roadmap for marketing educators to examine and innovate their own classes. We close with a research agenda that hopes to inspire future investigations into inclusivity and diversity issues in marketing education.
