Abstract

We analyze spatial and temporal optical response of plasmonic nanocone arrays, relate the strong enhancement of local intensity to excitation of nonlocal plasmonic modes supported by the composites, and discuss potential applications in ultrafast nonlinear optics and plasmonics.
