Abstract
In this letter, we aim to maximize the rate of a device-to-device (D2D) pair for a downlink unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)-aided wireless communication system, where D2D users coexist in an underlaying manner. We jointly optimize the transmit power of the UAV and D2D users, the flying altitude and location of the UAV and ground terminals' allocated bandwidth. To solve this problem, an iterative algorithm with low complexity is accordingly proposed. Simulation results show that the altitude of the UAV has an important impact on the system performance.
