Abstract
This collaborative video collage is an experiential translation of Kurt Schwitters' seminal poem 'An Anna Blume'. It uses found sound, birdsong, photographs, multimedia collages, short films, original recordings of Schwitters' interpretation of the poem alongside literary translations of the poem into English, French, Spanish and Hungarian to created a multilayered and open-ended audiovisual experience of the poem. The video collage was produced as part of the arts-based research conducted for the AHRC-funded Experiential Translation Network.
