Abstract
This chapter examines the digital humanities through its forms, spaces and institutions of representation, addressing its geographic and linguistic limitations. It explores differences between 'centre' and 'periphery' perspectives in doing digital humanities research and considers how the field can foster visibility on an equitable basis.
