Abstract

This report presents the findings of an exploratory qualitative study commissioned in 2007 by the Department for Work and Pensions to investigate the experiences of people with a mental health condition who had continued to work in paid employment while unwell. The study was based on interviews with 38 people working for a range of small and large employers in the public and private sectors.
