Abstract

This chapter has summarized the principles and practice of military health service support in conflict. The chapter links to Chap. 11, Part B of Chap. 5, and Chap. 27. This chapter considered the context of health in the military environment, discussed the organization and resources required to provide military health services, and examined the planning and mounting of health service support to operations. The chapter concluded by describing the command and control arrangements for the conduct of military health services support operations.
