Quality of service issues in 3G and beyond

Abstract

In an evolutionary approach, to support end-to-end quality of service (QoS) guarantees, it appears that QoS routing combined with integrated services over differentiated services with mobility support and its associated intradomain signalling and interdomain signalling, could be a candidate for a heterogeneous multitechnology wired and wireless mobile environment. Alternatively, IETF QoS models can be ignored and an attempt to obtain a radical revolutionary solution can be taken.
