Abstract

This article reconceptualises the term of “Fintech” by examining five key technological innovations in international commerce and finance: AI, blockchain, cloud computing, data analytics, and e-commerce. It then considers relevant legal and regulatory issues for fintech companies, including the regulatory toolkits, data protection legislation, and corporate finance law.
