Abstract
This concluding chapter identifies themes that have emerged from across the volume Private Law and the UK Supreme Court: Key Cases and Decisions. The discussion is organised under five headings: (1) continuity and change; (2) the role of policy in private law; (3) the structure of private law; (4) neglecting differences in bargaining power; and (5) the Court’s relationship with the lower courts.
