Abstract

This is an introductory chapter which situates the volume in the wider context of global governance debates and India’s role in them. This volume seeks to examine India’s reaction to the current crisis in global governance, its stake in a liberal world order, its interests in ushering change in existing structures, and its capacity to influence and shape the future of global governance.
