Abstract

The collections gathers 164 texts written by the major Brazilian writer Lima Barreto between 1907 and 1922 under pseudonyms. The hitherto unknown texts were discovered throughout an extensive five-year research that proved with evidence that the texts were penned by Lima Barreto and published in popular illustrated magazines in Brazil. This edition was published by Penguin with critical introduction and footnotes by Felipe Botelho Correa, who also organised the volume.
