Abstract

The conflict over Taiwan’s status is the hottest flashpoint in the Indo-Pacific Region
between China and the USA. In this article, we take one step further beyond the common acknowledgement that a war would have severe global consequences to identify specific challenges for the Norwegian Armed Forces.These challenges are also relevant to the Nordics at large and should be included in scenarios and defence planning.
