Abstract
Defect centres produced by low-temperature radiation damage in type Ib diamond have been studied using optical spectroscopy and thermal annealing. The phenomena are interpreted in terms of the trapping and detrapping of the self-interstitial to form a family of nitrogeninterstitial complexes. (C) 2004 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
