N2 - Root resorption is a poorly understood phenomenon and is often misdiagnosed and, as a result, inappropriately treated. The aim of this paper is to provide a practical guide for diagnosis of root resorption lesions using a simple classification, and to describe the principles of management of these resorptive defects in everyday practice.
