Abstract

The Paddington Alcohol Test (PAT) is a brief questionniare that reliably identifies hazardous and harmful drinkers. Developed collaboratively by clinicians and psychologists, it is an evolving and pragmatic tool that can be administered in under a minute, yet has high levels of sensitivity and specificity when compared to gold standard measures such as the AUDIT.
