Abstract

This chapter approaches restitution from a transformative justice perspective, illustrated with the example of an applied cultural memory project for human rights and justice at Parramatta Girls Home in Australia. This is understood through developing and applying the original concept of the ‘restitutional assemblage’, theoretically modeled from analytical tools drawn from sociology, media and memory studies.
