Abstract
In this interview, Dyana Gaye shares insights on Tigritudes, an itinerant subjective anthology of PanAfrican cinema which started in Paris from January 2022 and continues to circulate along the African continent and the whole world. Co-curated by Dyana Gaye and Valérie Osouf, this is a crucial project to overcome the lack of access to African cinema and to decolonise the gaze, through an activist and engaged labour of love and a dialogical approach.
