Abstract

Julia Kerninon is the subject of this interview. The author of Buvard, a novel featuring an interview encounter and winner of the Prix Françoise Sagan in 2014, Kerninon also wrote a PhD on the Paris Review's interview series. With interviewer Rebecca Roach, she discusses researching that series and editor George Plimpton's editing style in conjunction with her own creative use of interviews and experiences of being interviewed in the French media.
