Abstract

In this conclusion, the editors of this symposium provide a concise synthesis and summary of the other contributions. We highlight questions and underscore potential criticisms with an aim to kickstarting some debate. We call for the adoption of a practicably holistic approach to securitization studies and recommend some key elements of this holism, including a focus on failed securitizations, objects, and ethics, to be considered by securitization scholars.
