Video Art in the Philippines: On the Periphery

Abstract

This brief text introduces the two video art exhibitions as part of the Philippine National Commission for Culture and the Arts' Cinema Rehiyon Film Festival in Bacolod, Negros Occidental in 2012. The exhibitions are the group show "Killing Time," with works dating from 1994 to 2011 at Negros Museum and "Gilubong ang Akong Pusod sa Dagat," a solo exhibition by Martha Atienza in Gallery Orange.
