Abstract
Working Late is a four year collaborative research project addressing practice and policy issues associated with later life working. The project is funded by the New Dynamics of Ageing (NDA) Programme. Working Late is developing and evaluating innovative interventions and design solutions to promote health and quality of working life for employees of all ages. This is particularly important given the increasing age of the workforce, with data suggesting that in the UK, as elsewhere in Europe, there are now twice as many workers aged 50 and over than those aged 25 years or younger.
